Pakistan has enthusiastically celebrated its marvellous military victory against its arch- rival India on May 10 , this year on its first anniversary of Maarka e Haq( the battle of truth ) when a year ago on this fateful day Pakistan’s armed forces gave a valiant ,decisive and swift response to hubristic indian politicians and military establishment of India to their unfathomable utter shock and bafflement.

The magnificent victory against India propelled Pakistan to the centre stage of the world which ushered its remarkable role as a great defender of its international borders sovereignty and soil from any external aggression.

Pakistan’s credentials as a military might with immaculate combat strategies in multi domain warfare have been corroborated and ratified by the top military strategists and war analysts which has made Pakistan a cynosure in the comity of the nations across the globe.

Even the aerial supremacy of Pakistan Air force PAF on South Asian skies and its phenomenal dogfight against Indian Air force IAF last year not only challenged the Indian Air force but also drew global attention and this aerial battle has become a case study for the air combatants across the globe as it was an exquisitely choreographed and flawlessly executed multi-domain full spectrum operation which had placed pressure on the adversaries to its unfathomable limits.

It was witnessed by the entire world that our valiant fighter pilots targeted key military installations causing substantial damage and Pakistan claimed successful aerial engagements against Indian aircraft placing significant pressure on the adversary.

This devastating blow not only shocked the adversary but also compelled the enemy to deny its flights and India appeared cautious for remaining part of the contumacious conflict which marked a new era of dominance and prominence for the Pakistan’s armed forces and the civil government.

The US president’s timely intervention helped prevent further escalation and a ceasefire was announced by the US president through the toilsome diplomatic efforts of the secretary of State Marco Rubio on May 10,2025.

On the other hand ,some of the political analysts and diplomatic experts have been arguing for so long that Pakistan should have capitalized on its military gains during the military standoff last year which seems logical to some extent but it must not be put in oblivion that indian hegemonic and hubristic approach has always been a great impediment in the path to make any progress in this context.

India has long been striving hard to malign Pakistan for every domestic set back and governance failure. Even its electoral campaigns usually hinge upon baseless accusations and rootless allegations on Pakistan but after dismantling the myth of invincibility of indian armed forces Pakistan has triggered a paradigm shift in its policies and the opportune time has approached to show the controversial policies of the Modi Government to the entire world.

Through hectic and efficacious diplomacy Pakistan has aptly exposed indian hegemonic and strategic objectives to the world and it is more imperative to note that even the world powers acknowledge the effective and impactful diplomacy of Pakistan.

As indian leadership’s dreams have been dashed to the ground by Pakistan to portray Pakistan as an epicentre of terrorism and infiltration to Indian territory which India robustly campaigned to isolate Pakistan internationally through launching various false flag operations like that of Pehalgam on April 22,2025.

But it is more heartening to see that Pakistan has stoutly countered all those nefarious designs through its immaculate and impactful diplomacy .

Indian belligerence towards Pakistan is an open secret now which has been sturdily pursued by the incumbent Hindutva based BJP regime for the last decade and half but the remarkable triumph of Pakistan over India during the battle of truth has eliminated that stain from the face of Pakistan which was being used by the hardline nationalist elements in India.

It merits mention over here that the resilience and dominance exhibited by Pakistan during the most coveted Operation Maarka e Haq has weakened India Diplomatic narrative against Pakistan on international forums.

Being optimistic about initiation of peaceful negotiations between the two nuclear armed South Asian neighbours cannot be ruled out at any stage but being panglossian about such an instant and prompt outcome seems a distant dream in the near future as such panglossian propensity for sustainable peace is out of question unless the Hindutva dominant perception persists in India.
